While working on my 20% project I have completed week 3 on how to learn to do around the world. What my mentor told to do is start to get the knee drive ,because everyone struggles with that step and so I have been practice that movement without the ball. I had a struggle and that was when I tried to do the knee drive with my whole leg I did it with the ball and struggled. And when I thought of what my mentor said, she said to get the feeling of it and do it without the ball. After there that I had no struggles. What adjustments I would adjust pointing the end of my foot more up instead of down and that’s pretty much it. Where I think we would pick up is on getting that knee drive up with the ball and maybe trying to get it two times. That’s what I think. I would have to talk to mentor on Thursday and see if I am ready for this and if I’m not what I could improve on.

I am trying to do around the world for my 20% project and that is trying to get a soccer ball around your whole foot and without it touching the ground. I have completely accomplished week one and I just kept trying to keep it the soccer ball below my knee and up in the air for as long as I can. I did have a struggle and it was trying to maintain the ball for more than 10 juggles and I was supposed to get 20 juggles ,but at the end I got all 20 juggles. I would make an adjustment like the way I point my foot and control the ball that’s how I would get more juggles and be more successful and not to give up. Were I am going to pick up is on week 2 and trying to get the movement of the ball and trying to figure out how to catch the ball when it is falling or I am losing position of the ball.

My favorite room in my house is my room. One reason is because my bed is in there where I can sleep. My second reason is my electronics are there to keep my internment for my free time. My third reason is my clothes are in there without them…. it would be a problem. My fourth reason is my work space for school and my backpack.

I have been trying out for a club team called Tustin Legends for soccer. For the past couple of weeks I have been going to a club tryout to earn a spot with that team. It is a team with kids born in 2010 ,and I am a 2010 baby’s. The best part about this is a bunch of my original all star teammates are going there to hopefully to get on the team. If all of my all star teammates were on the same team we would be unstoppable ,but the down side to this is we have one player already on club and three other players on a different team. But I have really gotten to know the coach and he is a really good coach and I have fun doing the tryouts. The best part is my other coach , coach Scott and his son my friend Dempsey have been taking me to these tryouts and it has been lots of fun hanging out with him before practice.

What I am learning is how to juggle a ball or as other people know around the world. I have a mentor for this project and she is one of my coach even tho she doesn’t coach me anymore she is still my coach ,and she told my for my first step to do this is to juggle the ball on one foot below your knee. That’s is what I am trying to do for this project. But I am still needing practice on it ,but for the most of the time I accomplished this goal. I had a struggle in the beginning of the first 20 mins. Then I got the hang of it. I think if I need any adjustments to this is to probably change the way I I juggle the ball and the way I shift my body when I lose control of the ball. Where I think I am going to pick up is trying to get more of the juggle and then the next step to learn how to do this around the world juggle.

There are so many people I would want to invite to dinner ,but these are my top three: Neymar Jr, Marc Andre Ter Stegen , and Puss in Boots (why not). Neymar Jr is a professional soccer player who is getting old ,but I would like advice on how to be better. He was born in Brazil and plays for a team in Saudi Arabia. My second reason why I chose Marc Andre Ter Stegen is because I always look up to him and he is my idol. Why he is my idol is because he is one of the best goalkeeper in the world and he is a really good goals for keeping their team in the game especially in games that are tight. This person is a person who plays for a team in Spain the team everyone knows Barcelona. He was born in Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. My third reason why I choose Puss in Boots is because he is funny and has lots of adventures that he can share with us. I also choose him is because he is a cat which I love cats. If don’t know who Puss in Boots is he is a talking cat who knows how to sword fight and is from the movie shriek.

If I could have any job in the entire world, I would be marine biology . One reason why is because I love ocean life and want to protect them from danger. My second reason is I’ve always like watching animals and learning about them and especially ocean animals. My third reason is I would love to help dieting plants come back to life like coral reefs because in science class we saw a video of coral reefs being brought back to life and that got my attention.

This month I read the book called Bad Guys by Aaron Blabey. The book is about a group of people that are animals that can talk. The animals are wolf, snake, piraña, and shark. And they all want to be bad and steal. And they start changing in to good people and want to be hero’s. Then there are people who come to save them because they all have powers. Snake becomes evil and steals everyone’s power.

I really liked the book because how I can see what’s happening in the book from imagining it. And how descriptive it was.

My favorite character is wolf and he is my favorite because he is brave and bad. A character trait for him is brave. A quote that shows him he is brave is “ we may be bad, but we’re are so good at”Pg. 10 in the first book. So Mr. Wolf said this in the first book while he was introducing us.

My favorite quote from the book “I’m 99% sure you can make it… 96% sure. Maybe 90%. I don’t know. 50…What day is it?” this is when they were stealing something from a vault. This is meaningful to me because you can never be sure of something.

Life on an abandoned island is scary. I was abandoned on an island with other people and my mom. We were on a boat whale watching, but we went far away from the beach. We were hit from a big rock and our boat was sinking. Luckily we saw an island and we went there. Our boat was almost fully sunken and once it did sink we swam to the sore. While half of the people were crying me and the other half started looking for resources. One person went back to the sinking ship to get the supplies left. We were able to get all the supplies and started making shelter and started organizing our food supply. After a while people started eating all of the food and we started going to other side of the island to look for food and were able to find some food.

Day 29 we were dying one by one and on day 30 were got saved and as we were leaving no one else was on the chopper and it was only us two.

Percy Jackson And The Olympian’s by Rick Riordan.

The book Percy Jackson is a kid who is the son of Pasadena and he does not know he is the son because all he knows is his mom and step dad. He thinks his dad left him and his mom. Percy has a bunch on anger issues and has been expelled in a four schools and now he is at Yancy Academy. His only friend is Grover, and Grover watches him closely because Percy is a thief. Percy Jackson stole Zeus’s bolt. And now every demon is after him.

What I like about the book is how the author uses really good words they are so descriptive. What I also liked about the book is that how the author came up with half bloods and the gods sons.

My favorite character Grover and one character traits is how he is smart. I chose smartness as his character trait because he is able to help Percy in his tests.  “the gods really don’t appreciate people sitting in their thrones. I mean like turn-you-into-a-pile-of-ashes don’t appreciate it. But I’ve never even been to Olympus! Zeus is crazy!”

My favorite quote from the book is “if my life is going to mean anything, I have to live it myself.” This quote is meaning full to me because he is telling himself that if his life is not going to mean anything he has to make it mean something.
